The SnorePro SP-600 is a non-invasive, drug free device designed to stop snoring. Loud snoring is a sign of a sleep disorder and may trigger morning headaches, irritability, and difficulty in concentration. It can also cause high blood pressure, sexual dysfunction, and depression. Approximately 40% of adults (40 million Americans) snore. Snoring is not just an annoying habit, but signals a more serious sleep problem.
The SnorePro SP600 is equipped with a built-in microphone and LCD display; its proprietary Dynamic Snore Detection (DSD) technology is able to detect and record a user’s loud snores. When used over time, it allows users to find factors such as sleep positioning or consumption of alcohol/cigarette that may be responsible for increased snoring. Users may address that factor to reduce the snores by changing their sleep position or alternating the behaviors that cause them to snore.
The device also supports an optional biofeedback function to remind the user of their loud snores by sending electronic stimulations to their skin. This biofeedback technique works like a wife who nudges her snoring husband; it may cause her husband to change his sleep position and reduce the snoring. The snorer may be disturbed; however, their bed mates may gain more sleep as they won’t have to nudge the snorer any more.
SnorePro offers many outstanding new features. Its LCD display shows user’s snore improvements. The adjustable snore threshold allows users to increase it to eliminate false alarms in a noisy room, or decrease it to fit the bedmates’ noise sensitivity or for progressive improvements. 3-2-1 Training Program moves users from beginner to intermediate and advanced training.
